Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, unlike most other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By gambling against the dealer, new players don’t need to worry about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, rookies will be able to take their time and plan without needing to make frenzied decisions.
It’s also simpler to gamble on for a very long time with just a tiny bit of cash seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be under both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards face up and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
