Online poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years many variants on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to 21 than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the dealer rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier saying "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the different players are given 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning bet, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes directly to the dealer. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with an amount on par with the original wager. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The dealer pays chips equal to your bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
