Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that players compete against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more skillful individuals winning their $$$$.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make quick selections.
It’s also simpler to enjoy for a long time with just a little amount of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be under both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the house is given seven cards face down.
One five card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
