Have you observed the new PokerPro texas holdem poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about three weeks ago when I took a brief holiday with my parents to the WinStar Gambling establishment in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my turn to be acknowledged at the live tables, I watched how the other individuals at the PokerPro tables interface with one another. It was fairly intriguing to say the very least. Because the poker table was computer powered, there had been no clay poker chips to do any chip tricks, no cards to shuffle and the actual live experience was stagnant. Perhaps I was the only one that discovered this, but I did notice the gamblers on the table had a dull quality to them. The reason behind this may well be since there was no human interaction with the dealer, the atmosphere was rather boring and the players looked uninterested. It was nearly as if I was seeing a live variant of an online texas hold em poker room rather than being seated with hot bodied humans. It was a little bit creepy and I kept flashing back to an episode of The Next Generation and the holodeck broke down.
Since the waiting time for the live tables was over an hour, I made the decision to see how the game play was and to understanding this new hold em poker gaming technology. Right after wagering a couple of hands, I actually felt like I was playing at home. The lack of activity in the table was the main reason. I prefer to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those items are possible at these electronic tables.
An additional thing I observed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a whole lot of hands in the PokerPro table and noticed that the play was a great deal like a web based hold em poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, except I found it to be incredibly odd.
Right after playing a few rounds with this "new holdem poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m better off playing hold em poker on the internet at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling house were to have rid of the are living poker tables, I think they’d loose a good deal of players.
