In hold’em, the first step is to get the game started, and for this the players put out a particular total of cash. ‘Posting the blinds’ is the commonly used expression for this play. In the next step, the croupier shuffles the cards and gives out 2 cards face down to all players. A normal deck of fifty two cards is used in the deal. Then there is the first sequence of betting.
